Dear Parents/Carers

Sports Morning and Family BBQ/Picnic 2022

On Tuesday 19th July, we will be holding our annual Sports Morning. Parents are welcome to drop their children off and wait in the playground for the event to start at approximately 9.30am. Oak Hill children will take part in a range of sporting activities competing for their house teams. Please ensure you apply sun cream to your child and provide a sun hat. They will also need their school water bottle.

Family Picnic/BBQ
Our family picnic will start after the sports events have finished. You are welcome to bring your own picnic to share with your child or send your child in with a packed lunch .If you are unable to attend, your child can sit with their friends or with teachers. There will be no hot school meals however this year we will be running a BBQ, selling hotdogs and burgers. To ensure we cater for numbers and to avoid any excess waste it would help us greatly if you could indicate your intention to order food via School Gateway by Thursday 14th July. Please also indicate if you require vegetarian or gluten free options. We will be taking cash only on the day for all purchases.

Please remember to bring a blanket to sit on at lunch time.

Children who are entitled to free school meals
If your child usually has free school meals and you would like us to provide a packed lunch for them on this day, please contact Mrs Lloyd in the school office by Thursday 14th July.

Going home/Safeguarding
Parents are asked to start leaving the school from 1.15pm, all parents must be off site by 1.30pm.
Children will return to their classrooms for afternoon registration and school will finish at the usual time of 3.15pm.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT IS WEATHER DEPENDENT.
UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESCHEDULE.
